The Governor's School of North Carolina is a summer program of five and a half weeks designed to explore the latest topics in multiple academic disciplines. Of the seven students accepted from Johnston County Public Schools, two are from Smithfield-Selma High School (SSS): Anna Wright and Cristian Rodriguez (pictured above, left to right)
. These students will experience engaged instruction in three curricular areas while collaborating with other high school students. SSS is proud of Anna and Cristian's prestigious accomplishment of earning acceptance into Governor's School!
