The journey to the Championships was an arduous one, challenging the young team with many technological setbacks.  Working together, they overcame these problems, learning not only engineering and problem-solving skills, but also collaborative teamwork skills.  This perseverance enabled f(x) Robotics to win first place at the FIRST Robotics Competition in Raleigh (see picture) and to qualify for the State Championship.

F(x) Robotics fought their way to the second round before other teams claimed victory.

Mrs. Dufour, one of the team's advisers, said, "Although we did not win the championship this year, I am proud of how our team worked together and progressed to the finals."
